Helping Hands

Hello world,

This will be my final post for this blog, and I thought best to end it on a high note.

I suppose I could write about my Tasmanian motorcycle tour, or even about the time that I participated in a charity Yacht race. However, to keep true to my postings thus far, I will yet again write about something on my bucket list that has not been ticked off, although I imagine there are many people out there that have achieved this.

Many people who surround me do selfless acts on a daily basis. I know that I do, as I'm a mother I devote my life to my child. It may sound cliché yet everything that I set out to accomplish in life I always do so in order to make my son’s world a better place. However, I often reflect on the things that I could fulfill which go beyond my family duties. I suppose for this reason I chose a teaching profession... but is this enough?

The act of helping others to improve their lives and provide opportunities for them to succeed, that does not benefit me in anyway whatsoever, is definitely on my Bucket List – To volunteer and help disadvantage communities.
